Shingai once again escapes into thin air. Miki explains to both Kuraki and Ryota why she is certain Shingai is not the bomber. According to her, from her observation on that day, there was no way Shingai could’ve planted the bomb in the bag. She didn’t see him do that either.
Kuraki is still convinced that Miki might be hiding some information from him. Ryota, as usual, agrees lol. He doesn’t trust the Public Security department anyway.
I’ll be greatly disappointed if this girl really happens to just be some social worker.
Shingai asks for her help to investigate his identity.
Just how many times did we see Kuraki smoke already? I feel like he might as well be some cigarette ambassador.
The highlight of the episode is the killing attempt on Kuraki.
We get to some blood-stained Kuraki who seeks help from Miki.
Okay this seals it. She’s really just a social worker! I was hoping for some major twist but ah…disappointed. Looks like she tracks down Shingai’s home and begins to discover some very…disturbing stuffs. I won’t be surprised if Shingai was abused as a child.
I have to admit, I was grossed out by the dead cicadas though.
We’re getting nowhere yet so far, no advancement, no clues, just a very injured Kuraki and tight-lipped Miki. Miki’s boss who she reports to frequently maybe able to connect dots. Still needs more Ryota.
