This episode is starting to freak me out. In the previous episode, we know the ones police was looking for wasn’t Shingai but his younger sister. The kid in the first episode saw something that day and has since then been drawing pictures nobody could interpret until now.
It’s like jigsaw puzzle and kudos to Kuraki who figured it out what she meant when she told them “it’s completed”. When I saw this, I felt a bit goosebump. Freaked me there.
The kid also mentioned that was a monster. A monster who ripped people into pieces.
Shingai was captured and obviously, tortured. When asked about the IC chip (whatever that thing is), he couldn’t answer because he lost his memory.
So bad guy began to hunt for the girl who he was supposed to meet the other night at the station. At the same time, the police was also looking for her.
This is probably the first time I kinda sympathized with Shingai’s character…
They clashed with the bad guys at the station for the same purpose – the girl.
Yes!!! Chasing scenes! Been waiting for some action.
I find it odd that only Kuraki, Ryota and Miki were there. I mean, 3 of them against 7-8 of the bad guys? Even if it’s secret operation, they should’ve been able to get more people to work with them.
Nice kick though Miki…
Kuraki fought with him and managed to save the girl.
Thought he wasn’t gonna make it though.
For the first time also, I begin to like Kuraki in this. I guess I’m just waiting for the day to come where he’s able to release some anger, all those feelings he bottled up inside. I’ve not seen him smile even once yet. So I’m waiting for that too.
Man…this lift scene was so awkward and somehow…sad!
Two very very lonely person.
Kuraki found out from his wife’s psychiatrist about their sessions. Apparently, Chihiro (his wife) once told her that she killed their daughter.
So was it really true that Chihiro murdered their daughter? It wasn’t Kuraki’s real daughter but what could’ve led her to end their daughter’s life?
Bad guy managed to kidnap girl from hospital.
The psychiatrist also told Kuraki that a man always seem to appear in Chihiro’s dreams. She obviously had some depression issues and tried to commit suicide several times.
Good action scene, although I was disappointed we didn’t get to see Ryota in action much. I’m also not very convinced with Miki’s fighting scenes because…do you realize how thin she is? Maki Yoko’s tiny frame prevented me from taking her seriously. Still, that was a good effort. As for the plot development, we’re still nowhere near the truth. What the hell is that IC chip bad guy is hunting for? What exactly did Shingai do? If he wasn’t the killer involved in the previous murder cases, how is he connected in this mess? Wasn’t it his younger sister who’s the killer? A lot of questions, barely any answered yet.
Kuraki’s mentally ill wife seems to hold the key at some point. Too bad Kuraki didn’t dig further for the truth when she was alive. Now, he can’t even ask what really happened back then. His murky memories were all he had.
There was a scene which I actually laughed. It was when Ryota and Miki were in the car, on the way to the hospital. Ryota wanted to smoke but before he lighted up, Miki scrolled down the windows. That was really funny. Ryota’s expression as he put down the cigarette. No exchange of words but the actions were hilarious.
