Identity crisis?! I don’t know whether I’m actually surprised, shocked or more disgusted by the fact that Shingai’s supposedly sister is actually a guy. They’re twins (from what I understand). Ugghhh…I was actually hoping for a real proper sister, instead of having the same actor act as Hiromi. Nothing against the actor or Shingai, it’s just, it takes the whole anticipation away, you know. Like I want to see fresh faces and new characters.
Note: Watched this without subs (couldn’t wait), so if any information/fact is wrong, ignore them. I’ll try to keep things more general.
So let’s see, Hiromi is made to wear girl’s clothes since little by their father because their other sister died, whose name was Hiromi. Guess the father missed the daughter too much and since he had 2 sons, why not make one a girl. Twisted. The father was twisted, the son he made to act like a girl, even more twisted.
Hiromi showed signs of violence since young and liked to use ice pick to pierce the doll. He even killed the school’s rabbits. Then one day, he killed their own father.
Since then, Shingai has been controlling Hiromi and used him to carry out assassinations. If Hiromi’s the puppet, then Shingai is the one who pulls the strings.
Miki recalled the day of bombing, retraced what she observed. At the same time, Hiromi also narrated from his point of view about the day.
Let’s take a trip down memory lane. The mystery woman was also using fake hair so this adds more questions as to who she really was.
After the explosion, Hiromi managed to find the IC chip from the guy Miki was following as well. But Hiromi’s whereabouts were not known after that. We’ll just have to wait till he appears.
I thought this was pretty amazing lol….that hair.
Back to Shingai, he is still in captivity and Nakajima, the girl who was trying to help him find his own identity, died from severe head injury. I really thought she was going to last longer but ah….shortlived. Sad case.
So that’s where he hid the IC chip. He followed Kazuhiko till the cliff where he was being thrown off.
Here’s the TWIST.
The Shingai we now see from first episode till now is actually Hiromi. Kazuhiko fell into the sea and presumed dead. Hiromi fell too but he was rescued.
That was a nice plot twist, I have to say. I didn’t see it coming. I was disappointed that Hiromi wasn’t a female and a sister but this twist made up for it.
So now that Hiromi recalled everything, what will this psycho killer do next?
He goes on a killing rampage of course!
JOKER in nurse uniform?
The only fitting way for him to die.
This episode just about blew my mind out. I admit I wasn’t very keen with the slow pacing in the beginning of this drama, but once it picks up speed, namely from ep5 onwards, it just went full on accelerator mode. The actor who acts as Shingai Kazuhiko/Hiromi, Ikematsu Sosuke, he deserves some praise. I didn’t really like the way he acted before, but in this episode, that psychotic eyes…oh yeah man! I may not think much of the cosplay as woman but he’s got talent.
As Kuraki, Ryota and Miki did nothing but sit around puffing smoke the entire episode, we get to see Hiromi going berserk mode and a fighting scene between him and the evil Nakagawa Jin.
