I think by now we should know the style or habit of this show. Every episode begins with morning breakfast and the siblings start discussing about stuffs, mostly society qualms. Of course, Asa-nii and Sato led the conversation this time.
Sato was complaining about the fact that he doesn’t have any qualifications for any specific jobs so he will remain getting temporary jobs for less than 6 months. I wonder if the Japanese dream he was walking about applies to the whole young ones in general lol. Japanese dream = getting married with a rich woman and live happily. I thought it might be the other way round? At least, it is in my country.
So Sato then argued a bit with Asa-nii about a secret 10 years ago. He said he won’t forgive him until Asa-nii confessed his wrongdoing 10 years ago. What is this secret that the other siblings do not know about? Well, that shut him up though.
If you wanna see Eita scratching his bottom, see it here xD
Takako came to look for Sato and offered him to work at her farm. Sato turned it down but appreciated her gesture.
Kazumi was asked by Haru to try out acting at his place. She was to read some lines according to the script and wow…in the end, she just nailed it. That was pretty good.
Her mother couldn’t accept the shotgun marriage. She won’t let Azusa marry him until he proves that he can make Azusa happy.
She slapped her. I agree with her mother. She was equally irresponsible as well to get pregnant before marriage. It’s still considered a taboo especially in Asian countries. It is looked down upon. Having come from a strict Asian family myself, I could totally foresee my own parents act like Azusa’s mother.
I like Satoru. He’s jobless but he cares for his own family, in a different way than Asahi. Snapping pictures of both the doctor and Hikari together and then warning him to shut up about their father’s case. He then told Hikari to break up with him.
“He’s a scum who will turn back on you without hesitation.”
After getting a call from a local dining store, Asahi rushed to pay for Satoru’s food. In the end, Asahi decided to tell the others about their father’s death.
At the hospital, Shinjo explained to a parent about the possibility of their child having disabilities due to the premature birth. The father asked Shinjo to let her die because he said they wouldn’t be able to take care of her in the future like that.
Hikari didn’t agree with that kind of decision but Shinjo tried to explain to her later on that the parents might collapse before the child does in the future from the toll of taking care of a disabled child. To which Hikari answered back that she will never understand how a parent thinks since she’s not one and might never be.
Back at home, Asahi explained to the rest that their father died because of the company fault instead of his own. However, the company’s owner pushed the blame on him. As an exchange, Asahi will be offered a full time job at the construction company even though he never finished school and this secret remains.
That was why Satoru left the house having found out that Asahi agreed to that.
They went on and argued that Asahi could’ve gone to court and sue the company.
Everyone thinks Asahi was wrong to keep quiet about the truth.
Okay sobfest if you wanna call it that way but I wasn’t feeling it much this episode. I thought the truth about their father was nothing very huge, considering the whole buildup from the beginning of the episode. I was preparing for some shocking moment of truth but it was a bit of a letdown. Well given the fact that Asahi was just a high schooler that time, what could he really do?
Satoru decided to work for the company after getting a short lecture from Hikari. The drunk owner of the company called Satoru a ‘criminal’ and Asahi lost his cool.
Guess Satoru can finally understand Asahi’s feeling.
Because of that, Asahi got fired. WHAT?!
So how would a jobless Asahi convince Azusa’s mother that he can give her happiness?
Satoru went to explain some stuffs to Azusa’s mother before Asahi came. He asked her to accept the marriage.
Asahi’s crying face is adorable though.
Satoru accepted Takako’s offer to work at the farm.
Someone is threatening the doctor I think. Who is Kikkawa Mizuki?
This week’s episode was just okay, I liked the 2nd episode more. However, this is crucial because it’s essential for Asahi and Satoru to make up. So I guess they needed to clear some grounds here for both of them to understand why each of them did what they did. I think a lot of the focus is still on Asahi and Satoru. The ones that suffer most in this show for now are the two youngest siblings. I’m not very keen on Haru’s acting group to be honest and the youngest…I can’t even remember his name. I can foresee Satoru being paired with Takako and even though I’m not very happy with it, Takako’s character isn’t annoying so far so that’s okay. I’m curious what new job Asashi will take though having lost his construction job.
Till the next episode.
