Fancy ramen anyone??
Or should I ask, any ramen OTAKU out there??? (no, I’m not judging)
This new drama is perfect for ramen lovers or anyone who likes to watch food-related shows.
Koizumi (Akari Hayami) is a quiet high school student who loves ramen to the extreme. Her love for ramen is like no other and you’ll understand once you spare 20 minutes to sit down for an episode. See, it’s short and won’t take much of your time, plus, delicious ramen gracing your monitor…just make sure you’re not watching with an empty stomach. I did the same mistake one night and I was craving for ramen in my dream.
She doesn’t communicate much with her classmates, hence they think she’s a loner, except for this particular girl in the same class who is infatuated by Koizumi’s beauty more than anything so she tries to mingle with her.
Let the ramen feast begin!
If anything, this face is one of the major reasons anyone should watch this show.
In the first episode, this huge pork ramen made an appearance.
Nothing can stop this girl.
I think this shop’s appearance is rather foretelling?
Level 5 spiciness. Seriously, this is one shop I will never step into. I’m weak with spicy stuffs.
Misa, another classmate just broke up so Koizumi changed location to a spicy ramen shop to lift her spirits. Koizumi may not seem like a sociable person but she definitely can read the atmosphere at times xD
They also tell us the shops’ addresses so viewers can go and try for themselves.
Nice show. Even if all they do is eat ramen, I’m more than happy enough to just watch them do that. It feels more like a ramen documentary with Koizumi as the ramen ambassador and some side plots with her classmates. Akari is great as Koizumi, the same goes for the other two girls who act as her friends. Even if this is not subbed, you can still watch and get pretty much the gist of the episodes. However, it’d be even greater if someone will pick this up for subbing because whenever Koizumi explains the technicalities or ingredients of the ramen in such excitement and glittering eyes, I can’t help but wonder what are the details.
